How to Enter the 2011 Parade:

  1. Fill out the 2011 Parade Entry Form by June 10th, 5:00 PM

    The 2011 parade is closed to new entries. Please contact parade@evanston4th.org with any questions.

  2. Pay your entry fee

    $100 - Business, For-Profit, and Political Entries
    $ 75 - Community Group or Non-Profit Organization
    $ 50 - City of Evanston Elected Officials INVITE ONLY

      Be Sure to indicate your Entry Name in the "Add Special Instructions to Seller" Prompt
      when you are reviewing your donation on the PayPal or Credit Card form.
      IF YOUR DO NOT ADD YOUR GROUP NAME TO THE INSTRUCTIONS, WE HAVE NO WAY OF MATCHING YOUR PAYMENT TO YOUR GROUP!

  3. Read Parade Instructions and Position Information (sent out 1 week before the parade)

    By applying to participate in the Parade you agree to distribute the Parade Instructions sheet to all of your members who participate in the Parade. By participating in the Parade, each of your members will be agreeing to abide by the safety rules, standards of conduct and other provisions of the Parade Instructions Sheet.

Please note: All parade units must clear a 12 foot high by 13 foot wide underpass during the parade.
Other viaducts used before or after the parade may be even lower. You need to check these as you plan your entry.
For safety's sake, nothing may pass from parade to spectators.

We cannot guarantee parade positions. Early parade positions may only be given to entries with large numbers of young children.
